POOLS | LANDSCAPING | DESIGN | CONSTRUCTION
Nestled behind the hustle and bustle of central New Farm, this property was ready for a face life. After completing renovations in the years prior, it was finally time for the landscaping to receive the same amount of tender, love and care. The client was initially looking to create an Australian themed cottage garden to reflect the Queenslander character of the house, with Roses and herbs scattered throughout.
This sized garden was perfect for the addition of a pool and large paved area utilising the space underneath the house meant we could create a free-flowing downstairs area that could be used for those lazy days or an adrenaline pumping, bomb-diving zone for larger family gatherings. The choice of a Limestone tile and the Silvery tones and textures in the planting helped to tie everything in together, while providing an overwhelmingly calm affect against the white exterior of the house.
The front garden features a trellis filled with Grape Vines to give that added wow factor as you walk up the front stairs. The spaces under the to the house were filled with Hydrangea’s, adding a pop of colour to the more shadier places throughout the garden. It was here in the front, we created a miniature Rose garden, surrounded with Gardenias for added fragrance and Syzigium ‘elites’ for privacy. Everything that was achieved added a phenomenal amount of, not only value to the property, but outdoor living and joy to the client and their family.
