Toowong Residence, Brisbane

Positioned on the beautiful Brisbane River, this striking, modern residence required an understated garden design that maximised the amazing water views.

Incorporated into the expansive area is a full size tennis court, large child friendly playground with cubby house, a walled private Japanese garden, and extensive lawn area all over looking a luxurious pool. At water level, diversity was introduced with simple yet layered plantings of bougainvillea’s, hymenocallis and lomandra grasses. Lighting was integrated into the entire garden creating optimum appeal from the river.

Boundary walls made of stone and bamboo plantings provide complete privacy while a frangipani sitting proud center of a water feature creates a dramatic entrance at the front entry.
